I love online forum communities.  They are an amazing source of info, dis-info, and a great place to talk with like minded folks.  And every once in a while, you get to witness an epic fail.  At gixxer.com, an online community for owners of Suzuki GSX-R motorbikes, there was recently just such a fail.

Forum member sti2gsxr decided, after noticing his bike wasn’t running well, the solution to his problem was to clean out the fuel system with NOS fuel additive.  He jumped off his bike at the nearest gas station convenience store and proceeded to purchase two 22 ounce bottles of what he thought was a cleaning additive.  Without reading the label, he dumped all 44 ounces of liquid into his 4 gallon tank and off on his ride he went.  Surprisingly, all that ‘fuel additive’ didn’t help.  In fact, his bike ran worse.  And after he got home, it wouldn’t start again.  To figure out his issue, he consulted the brain trust at gixxer.com.  The short of it is, he poured in two bottles of NOS energy drink and NOT 2 bottles of NOS fuel additive.  You know how much engines just love a 1/12 mix of sugar water and fuel!
