Two years after the debut of the insanely expensive and understandably exclusive Reventon Coupe at the Frankfurt Autoshow Lamborghini intends to give car enthusiasts another reason to think about white-collar crime. Since the run of 20, $1.3 million coupes went so well, why not build another 20 with no top, and charge more?

The Reventon Roadster will likely be powered by the 6.5-liter 650hp V12 and use the same all-wheel drive system as the coupe. We expect the same performance specs as well, with the exception being a slightly lower tope speed even with the top in place. We are hoping that Lambo will use a top that is easier to install than previous units. We struggled a good hour the first time we tried to install one. Imagine instead of popping up an umbrella, you have to assemble it.

Pricing on the new ground based stealth fighter is expected to be right around $1.75 million. It will break public cover for the first time at the Frankfurt Autoshow.
